JEDDAH: The Saudi National Security and Risk Prevention Expo will take place on Nov. 4-6 in Riyadh, under the patronage of Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif.
More than 100 companies from 19 countries — including the UAE, the US, Britain and France — will take part, said Maj. Gen. Abdulrahman Al-Husayni, head of the expo’s organizing committee.
“National security represents a top priority for the Kingdom,” which is looking “to attract international companies to invest in future projects and provide innovative solutions to enhance the security sector,” he added. “We are working together to create the future of national security and risk prevention.”
The expo will enable the exchange of expertise, discussions on cooperation, and the introduction of the latest practices, he said, adding that it will include workshops presented by experts in the security sector.
The expo will present innovation awards to 10 companies from seven countries. The awards will be divided into five categories: Virtual and augmented reality; drone detection; unmanned systems and robotics; digital crime management and forensics; and smart and connected security. It will also present the Pride of the Nation Award to the most innovative Saudi company.
